The conference will be held at the Hotel Parador de Sigüenza. Installed in an Arabic citadel, which was constructed on a Roman settlement, this imposing castle was built from the year 1123 onwards, and was the residence of bishops, cardinals and kings. It is in an appropriate location to enjoy this historical town, close to very beautiful natural spaces.

How to reach Sigüenza

Sigüenza is situated at around 135 kilometers North-East of Madrid and is well communicated by car and train.

Arriving in and Departing from Madrid:

Shuttle service for participants from Madrid-Airport:
We will provide a free shuttle service to Sigüenza from Madrid Airport in the afternoon of Sunday June 23rd, with a bus departing at 14:30 hours and another one at 17:30 hours. The buses will be waiting at the bus parking of the Airport located in front of Terminal 1 [T1] (see below). Buses will be identified with a conference poster in the front and back windows.

At the end of the Conference a similar service has been arranged with a bus departing from Sigüenza immediately after the end of the final afternoon session on Thursday 27th (not later than 17:00) and another one early in the morning of Friday June 28th to Madrid Airport (not later than 09:00).

By Train:
The line Madrid - Zaragoza has a stop in Sigüenza. The Sigüenza train station is within walking distance of the hotels and the conference venue.

By Car:
From Madrid take the N-II motorway (Madrid - Zaragoza) direction Guadalajara. After 110km, take the exit and go 25 km on the CM-1101 to Sigüenza.
