The poster will present various aspects of the Data Analysis of the Short Wavelength Spectrometer (SWS) on board the astronomical satellite Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) of the European Space Agency (ESA).

The SWS Interactive Analysis (SWS-IA) system is set up within the Interactive Data Language (IDL) environment. It uses both pure IDL code and external FORTRAN code interfaced from within IDL.

A detailed discussion of the processing chain within the SWS-IA starting from the raw telemetry data of the instrument, up-to the final calibrated product will be presented, highlighting various intermediate steps, instrument related aspects and data reduction techniques.
