ISO Callibration

Model SED of Uranus

The following Table contains the model SED of Uranus used for the calibration of ISOPHOT at long wavelengths as provided by Abbas in December 1996 in different units.

  • Uranus, Abbas, (see plots) Note that the flux densities are given per unit solid angle. Uranus' angular diameter at different dates can be found in the Astronomical Almanac. Typical value is 3".55 (==> 2.33E-10 sr).

Model SEDs of Uranus calculated at several dates during the ISO mission are shown in units of Janskys versus wavelength below:

  • Uranus on March 30, 1996, (plot)
  • Uranus on April 26, 1996, (plot)
  • Uranus on October 9, 1996, (plot)
  • Uranus on October 16, 1996, (plot)
  • Uranus on May 21, 1997, (plot)

    Model SED of Neptune

The following Tables contain model SED for Neptune used for the calibration of ISOPHOT at long wavelengths as provided by Abbas in December 1996 for several dates during the ISO mission:

  • Neptune on March 30, 1996, (plot)
  • Neptune on April 19, 1996, (plot)
  • Neptune on October 9, 1996, (plot)
  • Neptune on October 16, 1996, (plot)
  • Neptune on November 6, 1996, (plot)
  • Neptune on March 26, 1997, (plot)
  • Neptune on May 13, 1997, (plot)
